Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Pint at the brewery - hazy gold - drier than usual for a hazy, so there is a lot of juicy fruit character (watermelon, citrus, mango) without any real underlying sweetness, which is a little confusing on the palate - I like this level of dryness in a traditional west coast IPA, but in a hazy it feels weird - it’s not bad, but I’m not enjoying it as much as I should:
