Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy amber - nice earthy british malt approach, with moderate caramelized sugars, plum, peat - the heat from the peppers swells up after the swallow and is moderate to high - would not recommend for those who can't handle spicy food - I quite enjoy it and appreciate the warmth in an autumn beer - I also appreciate how they were able to get the spiciness of the peppers into the beer without all the vegetal flavor that you often get in pepper beers - it does start to get a little much about 1/3 of the way through the pint, though - not for the faint of heart.
