Pint at the brewery - clear gold - clean, medium sweet malt base makes way for a strong, floral bitterness that is quite high for the style, bordering on India Pale Lager territory - it works well, and overall this is a tasty hoppy lager, but really doesn't scratch the Oktoberfest itch - lightly unclean notes in the finish, but otherwise a well-executed lager.
