Tap at the Washington Street location - dark purple pour - looks still - nose is fig, bourbon, treacle, tamarind, plum - flavor is sweet and spicy (particularly in the finish) - moderate whiskey notes - plum, tamarind - there is a moderate acidity late that creates a kind of balsamic vinegar note on the tail end that I actually quite enjoy - acidity lingers through the finish, but there is some underlying treacle sweetness that still cuts through - surprisingly low heat for the abv - it's good, but would really like to try this with several years on it.
