500ml bottle. Pours a thick orange-tan color with a nice fluffy white head. The aroma has a little sulfur above the malt. Have to disagree with their description, not a threat to the Bavarians at all. There is some refreshing clove in the motuhfeel, but lacks that banana fresh taste found in most Hefes. All out wheat taste is nice, not unlike some US versions, albeit with a better general mouthfeel than it’s stateside counterparts. A good beer, assumably that much better fresh in Austria.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Cloudy yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Yeasty: good. Light bitter flavor. Many fruity esters dominated by banana. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice hefe.

On tap at Brew Wharf, Borough Market. Cloudy paleish straw gold. Thin white head. Pretty standard weizen. Its got banana and cereal and bit of bubblegum. Not terribly aromatic. Cereal is quite subdued in mouth. Quite smooth and easy drinking. No real herbiness. Fine, if laking a little in character. The lemon curd finish is good.

Bottle in Vienna, 2006. Opaque golden color, full of yeast, extremely cloudy, nice head. Spicy, fruity aroma, quite strong. Bananas, cloves, coriander. Full malt flavor, with coriander, cloves, bananas. Very nice. Slightly sweet, spicy, with a sweetish finish. No faults, though not extremely interesting either. East drinking weissbier.

Hazy orange body with a medium creamy white head. Grainy, peppery, aroma with some stale banana and hints of powdered cheddar. More powdered cheddar, a bit more banana, and a grainy wheat background. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is spicey and some wheat. Flavor is more grainy than anything and not much banana or yeast show up. Some cirtus is there but this is not a good example of the style.
