750 from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Pours a dark cloudy orange with a monstrous head. Nice lacing. Aroma of citrus (lime) and malt. Very sweet taste... fruity (citrus, apple) with a malty base somewhere along the lines of graham crackers. Quite effervescent and thick mouthfeel. Tasty.

Thanks to ilovedarkbeer for this one. Aroma is a bit understated with some alcohol and candied fruits. Frothy, off-white head with good lacing and some retention. Orangy brown in color. Taste is nice, a bit spicey and yeasty on the finish. Dry mouthfeel and a bit overcarbonated.

(Bottle) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, complex, slightly vinous nose with apricots, banana, vanilla, caramel and yeast. Fruity, malty taste with dried fruit, apricots, fresh ginger, liquorice, anis, cola and distinct notes of ginger-bread cake. Malty, chewy, fiery finish, sweetish but not as sweet as I feared. Complex and balanced. Tasty and nice. Alcohol not as evident as suspected, but coming through with a kick after a while. Very nice beer.

Deep amber coloured body, full of haze, with a large slightly off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, coriander seed and a tiny bit of low a.a. hops. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with some wheat and corn noticeable. Aftertaste shows a bit of sweetness - some bananas and some light fruitiness definitely showing. Overall, a good beer - a mix between a very strong wit and a tripel, with it teetering toward the latter. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, D.C. on 25-December-2007.
