Bottle - pours a hazy dark amber/brown - lively carbonation on the pour, but no head to speak of - I appreciate that ommegang pulls off maple beer without it being cloying - maple and caramelized sugars are there, but are balanced by spiciness, some dusty/earthy yeast character - light bourbon and vanilla - spicy finish - it’s quite good.
