Taster at the Barrel Bar - clear amber with a thick white lace - aroma is bright citrus, caramelized sugars, coconut, new oak - flavor is oak-heavy and moderately boozy - the finish, in particular, is kind of hot - strong peppery and piney hops - sticky caramel - cherry, citrus - oak-heavy finish - basically a hoppy American barleywine - kinda harsh, but not terrible.
