Taster at the brewery - nose is deep espresso, dark chocolate, dark fruit, caramelized sugar - flavor is intensely sweet, a lot of chocolate, moderate smoke, leather - alcohol is strong, but probably would have guessed 12% - good flavor, but so damn sweet that I couldn’t handle more than a few ounces at a time without slipping into a diabetic coma.
