bottle, 50cl. best bf. jul 2008, tasted jul 2008., aroma : dark fruits, caramel, slight roasted notes. caramel, slight roasted aroma. flavor same as aroma. Good beer, "dark" flavor combined with "classic" flavor, would probably sit well with ppl used to tuborg classic (or similar) or brown ale. I enjoyed this one. [re-tested sep 2008, bbf jan 2009] comments and scores the same.

Bottle. A hazy, dark orange to brown beer with a big, dense beige head. Caramel, some roasted malt and fruity notes in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and with caramel up front, then there’s only fruityness and bitterness. Medium body, quite effervescent. The finish is mostly bitter, but with some sweetness. Not the typical Danish Classic, but not bad either. There’s just nothing interesting about it, unless you compare to other classics. (080412)

Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (091007)

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a fast disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.
