Tap at the brewery - yea, it’s a gimmick beer, but I’m trying it anyway - thankfully, I don’t really taste any donut (or donut glaze) - smells of bourbon-soaked oak, vanilla, chocolate - flavor is light bourbon, chocolate-covered espresso beans, moderate roastiness and lightly bitter black malt - okay, on the tail end I am.starting to sense some glazed donut, but I wouldn’t guess if I didn’t know - light oak on the finish - a little watery in texture, but it’s decent.
