Bottle: Pasteurised. A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is clear, highlighter yellow with minimal sparkle, less than finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is English hops and cracker malts, light fruit. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, soft carbonation and crisp, nondescript finish. Overall, softer and fuller than most lagers, light fruit and English hops make presence known more than average lager, but nothing special.

Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, mild grain, mild fruity and herbal flavor. Decent and easy to drink.

Half-pint (Keg) in the Cittie of Yorke, Holborn on 12th Sep 2014. Not as sweet as itโs brothers (Double Four and Taddy Lager), this golden brew has more hop flavour and aromas within itโs make up. The extra bit of ABV also seemed to set it apart from the other two lagers I drank along side this during my little tasting session. The best of the three by a long way in my opinion.
