Bottle, 4.5%. Slightly hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop, little toasted, little citrus and a little peach. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, little toasted, medium sweet, notes of beries, little dry and medium bitter.

Reddish brown colour, nice head with good lacing. Aroma is initially of resin, then more floral, with nice sweet malty backbone. Light bitterness, does not dominate the beer, but seems just enough. Medium body, lively carbonation. Very good!

Bottle at JF’s, from Hogsback shop, cheers James 03/11/13. Dark reddish amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, light hops, berry fruit, sugars, fruit jam. Taste comprises candied sugars, light citric, red grapefruit, caramelised sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with light hop bitterness. Decent amber ale/hoppy red affair - not a bitter in my book.

500 ml bottle. A light amber body with a small off-white head. Moderate in aroma, mostly caramel malt. Quite nice and fruity flavor with caramel malt, toast and moderate bitterness. Nothing fantastic, but a decent session ale.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines, Comely Bank branch. Pours a clear copper with a good white head. Interesting aromas, rye bread, cherries, cherry jam maybe? Caramel comes through on the taste, and a light hop bitterness. Medium body, medium on texture too, finishes well. Really enjoyed this.

Bitter o miedzianym kolorze ze średnią piana. W smaku treściwe i wytrawne. Słody mało wyczuwalne. Etykieta niezbyt ładna. Powiem szczerze że po braciach William spodziewałem się czegoś znacznie lepszego.

50 cl bottle, rated on 17.06.2011
Aroma is rather hoppy and sliglthly sweet with some hints of raspberries. Kind of reminds me of Nøgne #100. Flavour is hoppy and slightly sweet with resin and hints of raspberries. Very good and rather hoppy for a 4,5% bitter.

50cl bottle. Pours an amber-honey colour with a decent head, most of which departs, some of which hangs around. The nose has something sweet - maybe a sweet herb thing and some sweet berry fruit - hard to describe. The taste has jammy dodgers - red fruit with biscuity-ness. The palate has a medium body and texture and a fairly clean finish. Overall, what a really nice beer.
