Bottle from Nelson Wines. It pours cloudy red-amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is very sweet: candy floss, caramel, sweet strawberry and raspberry and earth. The taste is wood, earth, metal (due to carbonation), leather, caramel, lemon and grass, with a dry finish. Medium body and harsh carbonation. Not great.

(Bottle, Bihsop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm, 21 Apr 2011) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, red berries and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of red fruit, caramel, orange and a mild spicy bitterness in a fairly short finish. Rather light body, fairly sweet. Nice and tasty.

Medium beigeish head. Lovely deep red body. Deep fruity malty aroma with floral wild berry notes. Dry-sweetish wooden roasty toffee taste with floral strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, clean mouthfeel. Dry floral earthy wooden caramel aftertaste with roasty peas and dust notes. A roasty earthy taste lingers. Excellent. Extremely drinkable. Really has character, too. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Copper coloured beer, big to moderate off-white head. Very nice aroma, first fruity hops with notes of various berries, then caramel, bakery and malts (some of them lightly roasted). The flavour is first malty, with notes of caramel and brown bread, then some moderate fruity hops. Not too sweet. The finish has a moderate bitterness, mixed with notes of slightly burnt malts.
