Beautiful copper brown beer with medium beige head. Grass, some sweetness and redcurrants in the aroma that is overally quite aromatic. Flavour is simpler than aroma and slightly dusty, malts, grass and dry bitterness; not-inspired. Quite nice to drink but unfortunately too light. Good looking beer with nice aromas, but light body with simple flavour is slightly disappointment.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Reddish brown color, frothy head. Candied cherry, toffee and flowers in the aroma. Malty flowery bitter flavor with hints of toffee and red fruit.

Bottled(500ml). -Dark orange coloured, small off-white head, sweet multy nose. Sweet malty, light nutty and bitter aromatic hoppy taste with peppery and caramel notes. Short bitterish finish, overall a bit too weak.

500ml bottle picked up at OddBins, Oxford. Served lightly chilled at home. Inviting smell of toffee malt. Flavour has got some layers of medium sweet malts supported by dark spices and ending with a bitter note. Clear and good looking rusty brown body under a thin, but lasting, off-white head. Nice laceworks on the glass. Medium bodied (Tromsø, 18.07.2008).

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing tan head. Aroma and initial flavour is mild spiced and of light fruity hops notes. Again a light house character with the sweet hops impression. Medium dry malt base before the finish which goes into a dry and bitter spiced hops finish.

Bottle, Oddbins, Liverpool. Pours orangey brown with a vanishing head. Aroma is grapefruit and hops. Soft mouthfeel. Flavour is piney and hoppy with some fruit present also. Very American in style, but that is no criticism. Nice lingering dry bitter finish. Don’t know why but I wasn’t expecting much from this, but it turned out to be a truly excellent brew.

Bottle from Oddbins. An attractive copper/red colour with a decent off-white head and slight carbonation. Red fruit and caramel aroma with some citrus hops. Caramel was prominent in the flavour with a bitter, earthy finish. Good.
