Tap at Great Divide - labelled as "scharzbier" - dark ruby beer - thick, soapy lace - nose is dry and roasty, with a light mineral bite - flavor is similar - quite dry - medium roast and a light mineral note - dry cocoa, hints of smoke, and mild hop bitterness arrive late - some estery notes in the finish - pretty good, really - breaks the streak of crappy lagers from this brewery, as far as I am concerned.
