Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

Tap at The Rackhouse - surprisingly lackluster for a brewery that usually does pretty well with german styles - starts out nicely dry and moderately spicy, with a bit of mineral character - however, a sweetness gradually creeps its way in, until it becomes a bit much in the finish - it is a kind of corn sugar sweetness that sticks to the palate - a bit of medicinal character far in the back on the tail end also diminishes the experience - some nice malt texture and noble hop crispness, but this one has quite a few flaws.
