Yea, I have no clue why this is on tap this time of year, but their double pils still isn’t up, so I was stuck with this - somewhat hazy golden beer, with a fairly tenacious lacing around the sides - semi-skunky, european strong lager aroma, with potent honey sweetness behind it - a very sweet beer, with sugar and honey being most prevalent, along with some grainy/wheaty character underneath - grassy, herbal hops arrive late, along with some citrus pulp and rind, combining with the sweetness to create a flavor similar to sugar on grapefruit - the hops are a bit astringent, but the sweetness wins out in the end, though - kind of not very good.
