The flagship beer is pale in colour with a subtle hint of grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The wonderful hop bitterness is complemented by a balanced malt flavour. The beer has a long finish, which is moderately dry.

Medium orangey body and smooth foam, sweet hops and mellow grains on the nose. Flavour is fresh and cool hops, orange rind, fresh biscuit and a bit of custard. Served slightly cool and with a dry finish, smooth as all hell. An excellent bitter. Found on cask in Limsfield.

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Clear amber coloured body, patchy white head, spotty lacing. Malt-fruity smell. Well blended taste profile of bread and ripe fruits. Smooth bitter finish. Pretty good. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Cask at White Hart, Chobham. Light malty aroma. Medium amber. Thin blotchy white head. Light bitter. This then gives way to a caramel sweetness with malty tones. Although I found the bitterness grew in prominence as I drank more. Light-medium bodied. On the thin side. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Did not remember what I’d thought of it previously but a better than average non-twiggy pint.

Bottle from Inn at Home, Guildford. Pours bright golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma of light biscuit, caramel, light bitter fruit, grapefruit, lemongrass, and hop. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Finish is sticky and sweet, with light lingering bitterness. A subtle brew, which grew on me.
