The flagship beer is pale in colour with a subtle hint of grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The wonderful hop bitterness is complemented by a balanced malt flavour. The beer has a long finish, which is moderately dry.

Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival, Golden colour, white head. Moderate malty aroma, some toffee, a little fruit. The flavour is nice enough, but not very special - probably got the Gold award in the CBoB 2016 for not being offensive in any way.

Clear copper colour, white head. Aroma of straw, malts, hops and hay. Flavour straw, butter, twigs, quite herbal. Herbal finish, straw, lingering bitter.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, bitter, lightly grainy and hayish. Average body and carbonation. Not bad, but not great either.

Draft at GBBF 2013, Day 3 - London. Pours clear gold with a mellow, white cream head. The nose has ripened citrus and light wood. Light sweet flavor with moderate dry bread, some citrus, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition, it is worth noting. Clean finish with light bitter hay, bread. Super sessioner, this.

GBBF Day 3. Almost clear gold beer. Little pale cream coloured head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Fresh! Light pale malt. Noble hop spice. Light dry finish with a decent bitter linger. Hangs together very well.

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Amber pour with a white head. Fruit laden aromas, lots of citrus in there. Nice citrusy taste. Lots of mouth watering fruit action. Bitter-fruit finish. Tasty.

Bottle at home, from Wine Rack Burpham, 05/04/13. BB jan ’14. Pours clear golden with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to the edge of the glass. Nose carries malt, citrus, touch of hops, floral notes, caramel, sugars. Taste comprises pale malt, hops, caramel, orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation a touch over spritzed, dry finish with some hop bitterness. Carbonation flattens as I progress the journey with this one, upped from 3 to 4 on palate score, assertive hop bitterness in the finish. An OK drinkable bitter.
