Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/19/2016. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium thick tan head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and oak. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit, oak and earthy hops. The finish is peat malt and fruit. Above average overall.

10 ounce at the brewery - dark Amber beer with a moderate, creamy head - nose of toffee, treacle, charred oak, plums, light peat - creamy texture - caramelized sugars, light spiciness, moderate charred oak, the sugar adds an interesting earthy depth - sweet, but the spiciness and a mild back end acidity keeps it from being cloying - impressive Scotch Ale.
