Taster at the brewery, followed by a full pour - clear ruby - the light addition of salt compliments the caramelized sugars up front, creating a one of salted caramel quality - the light minerality compliments the malts, and the salt adds additional depth to the roasty, nearly smoky finish - a little cloying n the tail end, but good.
