Cask conditioned at the Star, Bath 11/5/07. Golden coloured beer which left slight lacing on the glass. Unfortunately the beer must have come from the bottom of the barrel as it was rather tired. Aromas were subdued, and the flavour had hints of sour apples with a slightly malty finish. Disappointing.

On draught at The Star Inn, Bath; Dark copper coloured, small white head; floral hops, also matls and honey in the nose; moderate bitter flavour; long lasting, mild but distinctive bitter-hoppy aftertaste; all in all a well quaffable, mild but aromatic Bitter.

Copper brown, steady small white head. Nose has English hops, flowery aroma of trefoil. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Good hoppy aftertaste hits in the finish. Basic good real ale but much too thin.

Has the colour of polished gold; crisp shot of minerals, yeast, subtle fruit, hint of crystal malt; a subtle, but quality pint.
