A dry and creamy porter with a rather potent addition of chipotle peppers - the nose has minimal pepper character- mostly roast and light smoke, with a mild pepper flavor - the flavor starts with dry mineral, moderate roast - this is followed by light smoke and pepper favor (though not overly vegetal) - spiciness arrives late, but is rather strong - not overly strong, at least not for me, but for those that dislike heat or pepper beers, they should stay clear of this one - lingering spiciness in the finish - pretty well done.
