A Futurama-inspired beer name? – oh hell yes – and the beer is pretty dang good, too – clear dark amber – rich, sweet maltiness – the sweetness is a bit high, but balanced nicely by earthy and peppery phenols – rich notes of plum and cherry – a touch of booziness, but much less so than you typically find in such strong quads, especially american-made ones – spicy finish, some very mild phenols (clove, pepper) and esters end it – not as complex as it could be, but quite enjoyable.
