Tap at Diebolt - light hazy rust-colored beer - overall quite sweet, with flavors and aromas of over ripe fruit - a lot of estery character (banana, bubblegum) and equal parts phenolic character (clove, pepper) - a touch of basement character - a bit sugary throughout - at times drinks more like a weizenbock, which in and of itself is not a bad thing, but this seems a bit flabby, messy, and directionless - does not come together all that well - sorry, guys - you know I love you, but I’m not feeling this one.
