I don’t really have anything to add that I haven’t already said in my ratings of the other iterations of this beer (the toasty dry maltiness is there, the mild earthy character) - what I can say is that the thyme just takes over way too much here - after a couple of sips, it’s all I can smell or taste - I consider this a failed experiment in that all it accomplishes is make me long for another glass of the base beer.
