Cloudy light amber - nose of strong lavender, light cobweb/yeast, mild starchiness - creamy texture, medium body - the dry, crackery malt, light bitterness, and toasty character of the base beer are fairly present - lavender is fairly strong, washing out the more subtle qualities of the base beer, but at least adding some character of its own - toasty, lightly bitter finish - lavender works to an extent, but is a bit too much for the subtle nature of the beer.
