Back in the day, Castletown Breweries was renowned for its own pure brewed ale. When the Castletown brewery became a part of Okell's, the legend was honoured with our Castletown Ale.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark golden beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a slightly bitter finish. Kind of boring.

Copper beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma with some caramel and some apple. Dry malty flavour, quite thin and watery.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Unclear to hazy amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, light to moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white bubbly head. Aroma is honey, wood, some grains and sweetness. Flavour is dark fruits, some berries and quite wooden hops.
