Draft. Wow, awful. Smelled and tasted like a badly executed rauchbier gone terribly wrong.

Tap and Spuyten Duyvil - I wasn’t going to rate this beer, but I just have to because I thought it tasted so damn wierd! - it sure looked nice, with a deep amber color and a compact, lasting white head - smelled very earthy and vegetable-like, with aromas of fruit-flavored yogurt and freshly-baked bread - earthy, plant-like flavor, with bread yeast, melon rinds, yogurt - my tongue didn’t know what to do with this stuff - I’m still trying to figure it out, and I had it about 24 hours ago - it won’t leave my brain alone!

Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a chestnut color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was light roasty malts. The mouthfeel was light and somewhat watery. The flavor had some bitter malts, a bland middle and no finish.
