[newer batches of this beer have gotten quite good, and it’s now my favorite in their regular line-up - it’s got some interesting molasses and brown sugar character to it, with malt being center stage until the finish, which introduces a nice herbal hop bitterness and some fruit esters] Now called "Boys Red" - one of their better sellers - a fairly standard amber, with some bright fruity qualities (strawberry/cherry) - lightly sweet malt backbone, with a fairly strong, herbal hop counterpoint - good with food, but not very interesting on its own.
