As the name suggests, we’ve used just one variety of hop in this pale golden ale. Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, we’ve selected some of the more “interesting” hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. Currently we’re using a NZ variety, Southern Cross. Expect a smooth slightly spicy bitterness with plenty of citrus flavours to follow.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 2/11/10. Golden with a slight white head. Slightly fruity, hoppy aroma with a hint of yeastiness. Sweetish malt flavour, with some lemon fruit and dry finish. Good.
