Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 29/06/10. Deep copper with a hint of red and moderate, off-white head. Slightly tart aroma of damsons and chewy malts. Flavour was full, with chewy biscuit malt, summer fruit and some hedgerow hops, leading to a long, bitter finish. Another impressive Plain Ales beer.
