On gravity at Bristol beer festival, 19/03/10. Reddish amber in colour with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, vanilla, oak and a touch of rum. Flavour was sweet, with oak and more vanilla prominent, some molasses and a moderately bitter finish. Ok, but not as good as the standard Bristol Red - the vanilla and wood started to grate after a while.
