Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Bristol 17/11/09. Clear gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of pineapple, tangerines, some elderflower and sweet malts. Flavour began with more of the malts, a hint of the roastiness harking back to Arbor’s first days, more citrus fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Very enjoyable, all the more so at £2.50 a pint.
