330ml bottle bought at Tuckers Maltings and shared back home with djoeye and Finn. Vintage 2013. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Minimal lacing. Jet black in the glass. Smell of black currants, oak and earthy malts. Comprehensive taste profile with a blend of dried fruits, red berries and roasted dark malts. Dry malty-fruity ending. Lingering smooth. Fine sipper (Session at Finn’s place in Tromsø 11.02.2017).

Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Thanks to Daniel for this one. Vintage 2013. Pours cloudy brown with a bubbly beige head. Somewhat bland in the nose, some chocolate, earth. Medium sweet flavor, lightly metallic, with tangy dark fruits, burnt grains. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; a little thin. Moderately sweet to finish, with notes of chocolate, more tangy dark fruits, earthy bitterness. So so.

Bottle at ChrisO. It pours opaque darkest brown with a tiny tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, rich roast, earth, coffee, chocolate and a touch of booze. The taste is rich roast, bitter-sweet, earth, booze, wood, scorched earth, alcohol and dark fruits with a dry, warming finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. There is something a touch watery about the body. Not bad anyhow, I was just hoping for a bit more body....

Bottle split at Chriso Easter tasting, thanks to Daniel, 04/04/15 2013 vintage. Light black topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is earthy fruit rinds, rich dark malt, molasses, cocoa powder, light spice. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, light oxidised notes, earthy, toffee fudge, chocolate. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Ok but lower end for the style lacks a little depth.
