A very pale, effervescent, highly refreshing, low alcohol, kettle-soured, unfiltered, cloudy wheat beer with restrained lemony tartness. The style is Berliner Weisse, one of the most purely refreshing styles of beer. We called it Solar Sour because we first brewed it on the day of a solar eclipse - 20th March 2015.

At Brett Fest 2017. Aroma of nettle, tart and some grain. Taste has soft acidic sourness, nettle, vanilla and butter. Bit meh.

Carnivale Brettanomyces, 2017, van tap @In de Wildeman. licht geel met witte kraag. aroma is fruitig, citrus, zoet, maar ook wat duf. smaken zijn licht zuur, wat zoetjes achtig, zwak fruitig, matige body, glad maar overall niet erg bijzonder.

Sampled from tap at In De Wildeman @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Hazy golden with white head. Sour grain, cardboard juice, light lemon, sickly milk film. Light sweet and moderate bitter with light tart edge. About medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at In de Wildeman. Very hazy light straw with white head. Some sweet grains, lemon, corn, soft hay, a milky touch, light flintstones. Medium sour and very light sweet. Just medium bodied. Bit basic but quite enjoyable.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Country Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Aarhus. [ As Hawkshead Solar Sour ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, baking yeast, fruity yeast, lactic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, citric, baking yeast, tart notes, lactic notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20161008] 7-3-6-3-13

Bottle @ Johns. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of light sourness, wheat yeast, lemon. Flavor is light sour, wheat, yeasty, citrus. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, light acidic finish. 081016

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head,. Greenish yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy and moldy aroma. Light biter moldy not pleasent sour flavor. Average finish. watery palate. Not very good.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale yellow. Aroma and taste are citrus, little lactose acid, fruits and hops. Light sour finish.

Bottle, 3.3%. Clear very pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, bakign yeast, lacto and notes of lemon. Flavour is malt, lemon, lacto, baking yeast, little sour, little citric, little sweet and fruit peel.
