Cask pint in the brewery owned Lych Gate, Wolverhampton on 28th Feb 2015. Light amber/copper hue to the brew, thin white covering on top. Malts rule the nose and flavour, semi-sweet toffee and caramel notes hide the hop content almost completely. Much prefered it to the BFG. My sweet tooth liked it.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper with a small head. Has a small berry sweetness, with a more sessionable texture than the strength might suggest.

Cask at the Dog, Burton-on-Trent. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Not much has changed on 10 years, but I think this style has grown in me a bit. +0.6 Cask at The Waggon & Horses, York. Pours clear dark amber, thin white head. Malty, malty, malty. Not a lot going on, besides malt. Caramel, light fruit maybe. Thin too. 260314

Cask at the Pretty Bricks, Walsall. Poured a clear golden brown with a thin white head and broken lace. The aroma is malty with citrus notes leading to a medium bitter malty peachy flavour. The palate is super smooth. A really satisfying session beer from BCA and perfect for the fireside.
