Old rating from 2009 - 500ml bottle as Heligan Honey, pours golden with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of honey, pear, earth, caramel & biscuit. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Bottle 0,5ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an honey smell, bitter taste and the beer is slightly watery but not in a bad way.

20/2/2020. Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer & Cider Festival 2020. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt biscuit, hops and light honey. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. The honey is nice and subtle. But of bitterness came through to finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the 2019 Kidbrooke Beer Festival. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of honey, dessert pear, tropical fruit. Honey, pear and sweet fruit flavours. Nice.

Fra fat på Fortescue Hotel, Plymouth 22 Sep 16 som Hops n´ Honey. Gyldenbrun. 0 skum. Juiceaktig. Aroma av nøtter. Smaken søt frukt. Litt syrlig etter hvert. Ok.

Cask at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, honey, some fruits and malts.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Clear golden orange with a well appointed off white head. Nose is straw, pale malts, light honey, caramel. Taste comprises bread dough, honey, crisp citric rinds, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering.
