Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester. Pours a pale straw with a small off-white head. Theres some indeterminate hops in the aroma, together with hints of honey. In the mouth it is sweet and light with a creamy texture. Dominant flavour is honey with some traditional hops plus traces of grass and apples. The finish is quite sweet – but not overly so. Not really my cup of tea, but not bad at all.

Cask at the Red Lion, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Clear yellowish light brown pour with a smooth white frothy head. The honey is very evident in the aroma and also the flavour with a hint of palate hugging bitterness. Nice to taste if you like honey, but would quickly become sickly over a session.

Cask, Hoylake Lights. Dark amber colour with slight haze and a thin white head. Sweetish honey aroma and flavour, although not overwhelmingly so. Some tartness into a maltyish finish. A bit on the watery side.

Cask (handpump) @ Telford Warehouse, CH1, Chester. Clear yellow / orange color with a small virtually none off-white head. Aroma is honey, toffee, dust. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
