(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 26 March 2008) Brownish orange colour, cloudy, with frothy, white head. Fruity, citric nose with notes of lemon and banana. Fruity taste with a distinct sweet/sour wheat character, hints of banana, green apples and plums. Nice citrussy finish. A good and nicely balance bavarian style hefeweizen.

Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. Served an almost clear, golden body with a white head. Good aroma but lacking complexity, with banana and some spicyness doing the job. The same goes for the flavor, which is more pronounced on the spices, mostly cloves, and there’s also a bitterness. Medium fullness, quite effervescent. A quite pleasant, refreshing beer, but I’d rather put my money in a Franziskaner, which also is cheaper. (080229)

Sample from bottle at Slagelse Danske øl Festival and several times from bottles prior. Pours slight hazy orange with a little head. Slight bubblegum and banana flavour. Soft wheaty flavour with a persisting bubblegum note without becoming dominant. Dry and hoppy finish.

280ml draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Hazy orange body. Missing head. Typical heffe aroma with a predominant smell of coriander. Sweet banana notes in flavour offset by a tartness touch - but still too sweet. Medium to thin palate (01.08.2007).
