Black with a large foamy head that left good lacing. Cinnamon, chocolate and a bit of roastiness. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Sample at Eclipse Company Store as part of Ohio Brew Week. Black pour with some brown around the edges, and a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Malt, whiskey, cinnamon and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of whiskey, chocolate malt, cinnamon and chili pepper. The finish is boozy with a spice and chocolate aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
