Sampled on draft this beer poured an almost black color with a large creamy dark tan head that left very good lacing. The aroma was coffee, malt, wood, a hint of cocoa and chicory. The flavor was semi sweet with coffee, wood, a hint of caramel, chicory. Long finish. Medium body.
