Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was malty with molasses, chocolate and faint dark fruit. The flavor was malty, toasty and roasty with chocolate, molasses and a bit of dark fruit. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.
