Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that left great lacing. The aroma was sweetish and malty with strong caramel. The flavor was sourish and malty with strong caramel, molasses, a bit of astringency and nut. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.
