Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was cocoa, floral hops and anise. The flavor was bitter and roasty with anise, cocoa, a bit of coffee and floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
