Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a black color with a small foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was roasty malts, floral hops and anise. The flavor was dryish, toasty and bitter with roasty malt, anise, strong floral hops and a boozy presence. Long floral hop finish. Booziness grown. Medium body.

4 oz pour on draft at Stable 12. Black with light tan head. Aromas of cocoa, chocolate, caramel, booze. Tastes of cocoa, bitter notes, slightly sour notes, banana. Medium body with a dry finish. Something off about this one.
