Sampled from a bottle this mead poured a golden color with a trace soapy white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was tannin and cocoa nibs. The flavor was tangy and sweet with cocoa, cacao nibs, and tannin. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth.
