Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a very dark brown color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty with a strong nut presence. The flavor was strong nut, malt, bread crust and a bit of toastiness. Medium length finish. Medium body. Alcohol well controlled.
