Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy grainy caramel finish.

Bottled@Björn tasting. Goldeny amber colour, small white head. Aroma is earthy, some sweet malts, mild herbs and quite strong on the grassy and earthy side. Flavour is rather similar with some mild toasted notes as well. This was a strange one, as it wasn’t all too bocklike.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Rated on 16.05.2011
Aroma is confusing; it is sweet, malty and refreshing at the same time. It has grassy hops, some grain and hints of berries. Flavour is also refreshing and sweet with malt, some frainy notes, hints of honey and berries. Usually I am not a friend of dunkler bocks but this one was good.

Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Rich aroma with lots of strong malts and good balance with the hops.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear copper colour, large off-white head, very persistent and creamy. Rather hoppy nose, character of a Heller bock in the aroma. Full-bodied, shy malty base with a nice hop prifle in the center of attention. Herbal, grassy, very slightly resiyn hops dominate over a nice malty base with hints of biscuits and honey. Dry mouthfeel.

Bottled swing-top 500ml (BZ, BB 05/2012)
My first beer from this brewery.
Clear amber-copper color, big off-white head. Malty, slightly caramelly nose. Medium-bodied. Oily, slick mouthfeel. Light caramel, alcohol, minerals and sweetish maltyness in the flavor. Some lingering herbal hoppyness in the aftertaste. Easy to drink bock, clean and ok.
